It really does start with having a vendor team that prioritizes reducing waste and uses sustainable practices – from florists who don’t use floral foam to photographers who pledge not to use film. Although I was trained in film, in 2019 I decided that the toxic chemicals used to develop film was too great of an environmental cost. Switching to all digital allows me to still deliver film-like photo edits, but without the environmental tax.
