MINNEAPOLIS ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY
Minneapolis sailboat engagement photos
Every Engagement session includes a date night planned by me. I truly believe that this should be a way for the two of you to share a bit of your life with your loved ones. My goal is for your guests to say “Oh, my gosh. That is so them,” when they open your save the date. Often times, these are my clients’ favorite photos we take all year – it really feels like you. It’s my favorite part of being an engagement photographer. We had such a fun time taking our sailboat engagement photos. I can’t wait to plan your date! We are so glad we got to capture such a unique and beautiful engagement session for these two and cannot wait for their autumn White Bear Yacht Club wedding day later this year as their wedding photographer!
Sailboat Engagement Photos
For this session, my sweet couple decided to embrace their love of summertime lake trips. They shared some of their favorite memories, including a sailing trip they took on the East Coast, and we really wanted to focus on that. We were able to combine this with their annual lake trip to create a unique engagement session that really captured their love. Meet Minneapolis has some fantastic ideas and lake recommendations to plan your own unique engagement photoshoot. Sailboat engagement photos are a personal favorite of mine, but there are so many fun beach-related ideas we can do:
- Beach day picnic
- Ice cream at the beach
- Marina photos by the docks
- Swimming photos
- Canoeing or kayaking date
- Paddle boating or cruising on a boat
- Even just making sandcastles or playing on the shore
What to Wear on your Adventure
I always love a good deal when I am shopping for my photoshoot outfit. Capitol One Shopping is one way to save. They work with brands like J. Crew, Charles Tyrwhitt, and Bloomingdale’s to get the best deals and cash back offerings. When you are trying to figure out what to wear, I like to stick with the classics. White is an always reliable choice for engagement photos. Soft colors always go so well together, but white will always be the safest.
