Welcome to the world, Grace. The Bartlings are such a sweet family and I am oh so happy I got to spend an afternoon in their home for this newborn photography session. And what a beautiful home to photograph in. Mom Meghan seriously channeled her inner Joanna Gaines when it came time to decorate their charming Minneapolis home and it made me want to go home and redecorate.

I love newborn sessions, but I think there is something really special when your baby is first becoming aware of her surroundings. When she opens up those deep blue eyes and is able to smile at the camera, I simply melt. I think mom does too. Grace was 20 days old and absolutely loved the camera, although she fought being swaddled. Thank you, Bartlings, for an amazing afternoon filled with smiles.
