From the moment we connect, it’s always my goal to make you feel completely comfortable and to surround you with the kind of energy that makes you actually excited to be in front of the camera. My approach for weddings is more documenting the day. I will direct when need be, but I like to let moments unfold and to focus on capturing the real emotions of the day – from bursts of laughter to those more intimate moments of love.

Ashley + Steve were so great to work with. They were adorably sweet, like all of my couples, and so ready to be married. Ashley spent two years breaking in her Louis Vuitton Wedding Heels. She told us she would do her laundry in them to get them ready for the big day. Definitely scroll down to admire her hard work because the shoes looked perfect.

A Different First Look

What I loved about Ashley + Steve’s big day was the emotion behind it. I am a lover of First Looks and think everyone should have them. But another first look that sometimes gets overlooked is the Mother-Son First Look. Steve is a total self-described Mama’s Boy and their first look was precious. It also gave his mom a chance to fix his boutonnière because Mama knows best.

The Classic Lafayette Club Lakeside Wedding

The Lafayette Country club in Minnetonka brings back memories of a classic summer and of watching the big boats cruise by. I absolutely love being by the water – I think most of my dream clients are married by the water. That is what makes the Lafayette Club so magical. Your guests get to enjoy the history of the club and are able to also enjoy the scenic views Lake Minnetonka has to offer.

Ashley + Steve, no one deserves this perfect day more than the two of you. I am so beyond happy that I got to be there to witness the beginning of your next big adventure. Thank you a million times over for being so incredible. I hope this new adventure together gets better each and every day. Your joy is contagious and I absolutely loved being surrounded by it on your wedding day. Cheers to many more decades of love and happiness!
