Fall in love with this Boho Pink Himalayan Salt Styled Shoot hosted at SALT Salon in Minneapolis. Self-love is something that is so different for each person. It’s important to everyone, but not everyone can find the time to practice it especially in the winter. This winter weather had me feeling about as blue as my toes were, and I wanted to use my creativity to create something beautiful that told a story.
The inspiration behind this Boho Pink Himalaya Salt Styled Shoot was simple: for centuries Pink Himalayan Salt had been used to help individuals experience self-love through purifying, cleansing and dispelling negativity from the mind. I fell in love with the romantic idea that this beautiful pink grain of salt could protect your heart during the winter blues.
And while I am so incredibly excited to share these stunning images from our Boho Pink Himalaya Salt Styled Shoot at SALT Salon in Minneapolis, I want to hold your attention for just a few more paragraphs so I can tell you about my amazing team of people who helped bring my vision to life.

The Planner
First, I would love to thank Shaded Spruce Events who helped me to really hone in on my vision. However, they then completely wowed me by bringing that vision to life and expanding upon it!
The Cake
Hey There, Cupcake is just as sweet as her cakes are! Chelsea created a chocolate cake with a fudgy filling and buttercream frosting. Her pink Himalayan salted caramel drip truly was the best thing I ate all day.
The Florals
The florals created by Studio 651 Floral & Design seriously transported me to a beach somewhere warm. It was inspiring to work with Candace. She took all our boho designs and created a cohesive piece that really stood out.
The Makeup
Glow With Dej has been my go-to makeup artist since I began Wedding Photography. Something special I do for my brides is to include Engagement Makeup for my Engagement Photography Sessions and every single bride shows up to our photoshoot absolutely glowing and beaming. Dej chose a simple look to highlight Larissa’s natural beauty.
The Cocktails
Her Spirit Vodka amazes me every day by their generosity and kindness. 50% of profits go back to women entrepreneurs, and who doesn’t love vodka? Kjersten, the owner, created two signature craft drinks for this shoot. They are both amazing and really captured the essence of the shoot.

The Decor
Britt Rental Co. has the most beautiful vintage goblets, vintage water pitchers, brass candlestick holders, flatware and a few stunning vase options as well. Her collection of rentals enhance any tablescape. Brides, Mother of the Bride and Wedding Planners alike are able to work with her and she’s the sweetest.
The Venue
Finally, SALT Salon thank you for immediately jumping on board with my idea. This is the absolute perfect place to host your bridal party on the morning of your wedding. The salon does hair, nails and has an on-site Makeup Artist Collaboration. They entertain like no other with the cutest charcuterie boards and brews my favorite brand of Greenville, SC coffee – Methodical Coffee. Seriously, if you are getting married at a venue without a proper getting ready room, this is where you should go.
But the real showstopper is their Healing Pink Himalayan Salt Room where they host yoga sessions, massages, and other spa treatments. Leading up to your wedding, I see so many brides get stressed out and this is a great way to show themselves a little love during a chaotic time.
